This is the image that I was hired to do for an article inside the pages of AD EDGE magazine. I think PANA(not sure what that actually stands for :) will give these copies for free. Got to ask for copies from the editor. Anyway,Mabuhay!

Blast from the past (Kick Fighter 2) 1995

I got these via email, old images of my work on this local publishing company that made a parody of Street Fighter. Thanks OJ Arrieta for scanning and sending them to me.

I realized that by this time, the issue number was 126. So, that was 4 pages for every issue times 126. That's like 504 pages of work.

This title lasted another more year before they decided to close shop.

Kyle Jacob had a lot of fun :)

Since this is my second time to go there, I am more trilled to witness a lot of my son's first experiences there like his first plane and boat ride, taking his first plunge into the swimming pool and the beach. He especially enjoyed playing on the fine white sands of Boracay. My wife and I enjoyed snorkling :) I usually don't want to go at first, but once I am inside the water? I'd definitely make the most of it.

Off to BORACAY

I haven't updated my blog for such a long time now. So many things going on left and right. Our baby got sick and we have to closely monitor his progress especially since we are scheduled to go to Boracay this week for a four day vacation. He is okay now, thankfully. I was also preparing the pages for the Demigods book 1 I am planning to release locally next year. Coloring Eros pages for Blitzworx release for their second issue, hope I could finish that soon as well. I still have a few unfinished Digmaan pages here that I have not posted yet.
I decided to stop and just enjoy the vacation. I'll just catch up with all these deadlines after our little R and R. I am excited to see my kid play on white sand :) Many firsts for Kyle.

I have some art done inside the latest issue of ADEDGE magazine, although I am not sure where it is available.

Last Saturday, after going to Quiapo church in the morning we attend the first ever KOMIKON 2005. It was a blast to see most of our friends again and meeting new ones too. Although it's a shame Fantasya and Blitzworx was not able to release their first issue, it was still fun just to be there.

I was also able to complete the Marvel Legends toys the Sentinel series.

That evening, we went to Eastwood City to participate in the World's Longest Buffet. It was quite a challenge to get the food you want,after our second return to the tables, there was no food and we have to wait til 9pm for them to replenish. We decided to go home. Actually we wanted to watch DOOM. but we missed our baby Kyle.

Quite a day for us on our Monthsary :)

Old doodles (M REX CHARACTERS)

Another old doodles of mine, featuring some characters from AVALON STUDIOS' M REX title.

KATKIN/SIDES crossover

This was done during our stay at Whilce's studio in ballete drive. Roy Allan Martinez (wicked,wonder woman) agreed to do a crossover featuring his character, Katkin together with my chracter, Sides. Unfortunately, he was only able to finish a few pages for his part of the book. I finished mine though.

The image above is the supposed cover for that collaboration. Roy pencilled the left part of the spread while I did the right side and inked the whole thing.

NOT DEAD blog YET :)

I know, I know it has been a while since I posted something here. I just got busy with a lot of stuffs lately. I am inking pages for Masquerade, coloring pages for the Saints, doing some tones for Kismet, will do some layouts for the Local DCkids and Sh mags.

Also finishing an image for AdEdge magazine, my deadline's friday actually, I'll show that one when I am allowed to. Yesterday,I went to ABS-CBN studio 14 for a short segment drawing on a glass. They'll tell me when It will be aired :)

I have several pages for DIGMAAN, haven't able to post them yet. What, me busy? Not really, still waiting for more things to do. I'll post Digmaan pages tomorrow. Promise.

He agreed to make me co-creator, so that's neat :) I'll handle all the visuals for the book.
